When you get their business card, read it first and if you have any doubts just ask it from them then and there. It will be offending them if you just put their cards away without reading it.

When you have agreed for a meeting at a particular time, do not make them wait for your arrival as it will be considered a way of showing disrespect so better avoid being late to the meeting.

If you are a lady you should follow a decent dress code and never go for a business meeting with a skirt that falls short of your knees. The Chinese business etiquette requires that when you have to say no to something, do not say it bluntly and you can say that “ok ,I will look into it” instead.

Chinese business etiquette requires that you choose the right colors and you must be aware that they do not like the white color and black color as they are considered as colors of death. They like red color very much and even when you wrap a gift packet have it wrapped in red color paper. Like this just pay attention to some of the minor things and you will be able to have a long lasting and successful business relationship with your China business partners.
